Where Big Creek Lake flows into the woods
you might meet a moccasin or alligator.
On the lilly pads the frogs gurgle deep in the throughts
and you're sure to catch a fish sooner or later.
Bloody 98 runs over the bridge and little
purple flowers here and there.
Just west of the bait-shop and the farmers market
and strip-club whorehouse.
There is beauty to be seen everywhere.
Outside of mobile headed north and east where
they dammed up the big Creek and made a lake.
Is something you should visit if you ever get the chance and
tell the purple flowers hello for me.
